This simple shot was taken at the burial site of Stonewall Jackson’s amputated arm at Ellwood Plantation near The Wilderness Battlefield. Reverend Beverly Tucker Lacy, chaplain of Jackson's Corps, buried the limb in the Lacy family cemetery following the Battle of Chancellorsville. This photo was taken at a special CWPT event that I was attending on a glorious spring day. I couldn’t resist capturing the brilliant colors of the surrounding fields.
