I could not be prouder to be on this bill…

UPDATE 3/1: Our friend Clint Schemmer wrote a nice article about this series in today's Free Lance-Star.

Civil War Forum Series (March 2012): Robert K. Krick. 9:55 a.m., Sunday. March 4, St. George’s Episcopal Church, Fredericksburg. Krick, a nationally renowned Fredericksburg historian, will launch this four-part Lenten series with his thoughts on the suffering that took place in during the Union army’s occupation of Fredericksburg, and will take questions. John Hennessy, Chief Historian at the Fredericksburg and Spotsylvania National Battlefield Park will speak March 11 on the experience of the church in the larger community; local historian and author Michael Aubrecht (March 18) on the revivals at St. George’s during the Civil War; and National Military Park Service historian Don Pfanz (March 25) on wartime perils faced by area churches. Each lecture will be held in Sydnor Hall, the large space beneath the church’s nave, accessed directly from George Street. For more information, visit stgeorgesepiscopal.net.
