"Hiring Michael was some of the best money we've ever spent." - Baseball-Almanac

Since the 2000 MLB season, Michael Aubrecht has provided over 375+ separate studies and essays as a freelance contributing writer for Baseball-Almanac.com. These works include the complete history of the MLB World Series, All-Star Game, Divisional Series and MLB Timeline. Michael has also conducted multiple studies into the early origins of baseball and has published multiple essays in MLB banquet programs, baseball historical society newsletters and fan club periodicals.

In 2004, Michael joined the online author's group
FaithWriters and began writing Christian material that has been published in multiple religious magazines and periodicals. He has also been active as a contributing writer for the Spotsylvania Presbyterian Church post since 2003. By day, Michael holds the position of Associate Art Director for a leading sales magazine and has over 12 years experience in design.

In late 2004, and again in early 2005, Michael signed with Publish America to produce his first two books; "Onward Christian Soldier" and "Christian Cavalier." He has also been asked to assist as a freelance baseball and Civil War historian periodically for
The Free Lance-Star newspaper in Fredericksburg, VA where he resides with his wife and three children.
