New Market Battlefield, Shenandoah VA 
 
This picture is of several Federal cannon sitting on the crest at New Market Battlefield. I liked the backdrop of the trees, so I framed the shot as I would have painted it. New Market is one of my favorite sites and the Hall of Valor there is one of the best Civil War museums in the country. I believe that VMI maintains it.
