Stupid cannon hunting question.... Is that a 6pdr Iron field gun?  If so is that the example that was posted in downtown Fredericksburg for some time?

Thanks David, how can I get the Battlefield Balladeers to do my theme song for "The Naked Historian" (hint-hint).

Great question Craig, I am not sure. That gun has been there as long as the neighborhood (I believe). We have so many cannons around here I imagine it was a different one downtown. I'll ask around though.
