"Almost every tree and field in this area has a story of valor;
how could one not be excited about telling these stories?" - Mark Jones

Mark Jones grew up in the Shenandoah Valley hearing about his Confederate ancestors fighting Yankees during “The War.” A number of years in the Army serving with the 82nd Airborne Division and Special Operations Command did nothing but stoke Mark’s interest in military history. His eclectic Civil War interests include; irregular warfare operations, cavalry operations and the Civil War in the far West. He has provided tour guide services for his friends and family since he moved to the Fredericksburg area in 1996. In 1998, Mark suffered a spinal cord injury due to a rare vascular condition. He is a high functioning quadriplegic, who still enjoys many outdoor activities.

"Everyone should have the opportunity to witness these sites firsthand.
